Fun in the Sun with a Friend

Brittany and Michael had a friend come over last week for a few hours. We spent most of the time outside playing in the water. Starting in reverse....

After playing in the water, they were ready to sit down and relax (and more than ready for nap time).

See how wet they are now? This is Brittany and Cassidy inside the water toy.

Michael didn't like the wet head thing, so he showed the girls what to really do with the water toy! Climb in it!

Michael, finally, decides to brave the new adventure and dunks in his head too.

After watching Cassidy do this several times, Brittany takes her turn.

Finally, Cassidy decides to get her hair wet by placing her head in the water. Michael just thought this was so funny! He couldn't stop laughing.

Fun Times!

I just love, love, love this picture of Brittany. Her and Michael were playing under the living room table, and I was able to capture this great picture! Brittany & Michael realized that their "potty" could also be used as a stool. This is a picture of them both standing on the stool and making faces in the mirror. Needless to say, they carry around the stool in order to get into everything now.

They both love their Mickey Mouse ears and now they can get to them via the stool, they play with them a lot. This is a picture of Michael with his on while reading.

Growing Up Too Fast

Two days ago while I was working in the office and Brittany was entertaining herself by rummaging through my desk drawers, she found these old YW items. She quickly put them on; I thought she looked so cute I had to take pictures. After looking at these pictures later, I realized how much older she looks in them! What happened to our baby girl?!

Fun to Watch

This is just a fun video. Brittany & Michael love to play with the radio, especially the volume! This is a video of Michael playing with the radio and "enjoying" the music too! If you listen closely, you'll notice he's playing with the volume.

Cool Glasses!

Brittany loves sunglasses; she has to have them in the car and while we are outside. Yesterday, she didn't want to take them off. So, she is here sporting the glasses while eating dinner and coloring.

Something New with Something Old

Brittany & Michael keep finding their old baby toys (this one was under the bed in the spare bedroom). So, we took this old toy, put it up, placed a blanket over it and viola instant tent! They loved it! They spent most of the morning playing in it; Brittany even ate her snack in it. Here she is letting Michael feed her!

Sun + Water = Fun

Well, it's starting to warm up here; it was 90 degrees yesterday! So, we decided to dust off the water toys and have some fun yesterday.

Here is Brittany making her special "mud" dessert. Michael is trying to get the camera from me!

They both love water! Here Brittany figured out how to get the water out of the hose.

Here Michael is getting a little chilly because he's dripping wet.
