Trunk or Treating

We had Trunk or Treat last night since it's our Stake Conference this weekend. This is Brittany and Logan waiting for the best part of the night to start (collecting the candy). OK, so we didn't take a lot of time in decorating our trunk, but we did try (the kids loved helping).

Michael kept showing the kids how to play with the spider (when you clap, it falls down the string). It was quite the hit with the kids.

Halloween Costumes!

They were dying to get into their costumes; we purchased them in early October. They've been eyeing them in the closet ever since....waiting, waiting...

They were so thrilled to put them on. In this picture, Brittany is getting ready to "twirl" for me. Michael has a fascination with the skull in his hands. He has been carrying it around with him for the past two days. Should we be worried? Brittany is Tinkerbell and Michael is Thomas (of course).

Pumpkins, pumpkins who's got the pumpkins?

We are so lame in that we just starting carving the pumpkins this week! It was very warm until recently, and we didn't want to carve more than a few (because the heat makes for mushy pumpkins). Anyway, Michael had no interest in this project, but Brittany jumped right in with daddy. She loved getting her hands all gross and sticky! She loved it!
