Nothing to do with Bday...Just fun!

Michael and Brittany just love books! In order to keep Michael interested in eating (aka, food), we give him a book to look at while he eats. Otherwise, he wants nothing to do with eating! (I guess that is why his height is in the 50th percentile, but his weight is in the 10th percentile). Michael loves stuffed animals...Brittany not so much. This is his favorite one; he loves to hug and kiss it!
Brittany loves my shoes! I received new slippers at C-mas and she just can't get enough of them!

Bubbles....

They love the bubbles...Ok, Brittany loves the bubbles; Michael is a little unsure of what to do with them. After watching Brittany chase them and try to pop them, he figured out the game.

Presents...finally!

Most of the gifts Michael received had to do with being outside. They both love playing outside (Brittany loves the swings and Michael loves the dirt) and I was a little tired of finding my measuring cups outside with dirt in them! So, they received buckets, shovels, toolbox, bubbles, so forth. We've been outside playing with them daily since Saturday!

Celebration Continues....

We had a pinwheel attached to Michael's highchair. As you can see, Michael wasn't too sure of it, but Brittany thought it was great! I love her pictures!

Celebrating with Balloons!

Well, Saturday was Michael's 1st birthday and we had a small family party for him. When they both woke up from their morning naps and saw the balloons, they were so excited! They laughed and laughed and laughed. They loved the balloons and could have played with them the entire day. Maybe we should have just bought them balloons?! As a matter of fact, each time they entered the room with the balloons and streamers they giggled!

Christmas Day!

Santa was very generous this year with the kids! Brittany loves the rocking horse (it makes galloping sounds too); Michael was a little more cautious around it.

Here are pictures of the kids with the trainset. They did love it though!

This is one of Brittany and Michael's gifts from Santa. I believe it was really intended to for Daddy!
This is our lovely Christmas morning picture! We are waiting for Daddy to make sure Santa came!
