Hatch Olympics (aka, 4th of July)

Yes, we are behind on posting pictures as we've had sickness in our family lately. It still amazes me how much your world can be turned upside down due to one small person being sick! Anyway, they are both napping, so here are some updated pictures.

First, the Hatch Olympics. This is an event which takes place every year on the 4th of July. Here the kids are getting directions from us (aka, reading Uncle John's email of the events).
This was the "frog jump" event which really turned out to be the adults doing most of the work. It was fun, though, trying to teach them both how to "frog jump".

Apparently, this is where Brittany is giving Granddad some tips on the events.

This was the "ball bouncing" event, which really turned out to be the "ball bouncing/throw" event. They loved the bouncey balls!
